"Hi. I am Sheetal Solanki. Before joining FICT, I was a very shy and reserved kind of person. But after spending just a few months here, I have become more confident and interactive. In today's time it is very important for a journalist to be multi-skilled and FICT has made me that. I really thank FICT for what I am today."

"I did my post graduate diploma in T.V. Journalism from FICT. When we started off with the course we were taught editing, camera and direction etc. Everyone including myself were really apprehensive regarding that. According to us we came here to learn journalism and not production and editing. Till that time we did not realize the importance of Multi-tasking that the faculty of FICT really pushed us to learn everything and finally we stood amongst the best interns where ever we went."

"Fortune Institute of Communication and Television. I came here not knowing what relation I had with the camera. With the help of FICT I made friends with camera, each new day I discovered a new aspect of my personality. I went to Zee for my internship, everyone thought I was just like any other intern, not having technical knowledge but the multiskilled knowledge given by FICT helped my way all through. Now when I am about to leave this institute, I feel grateful to have been a part of this instutute". |

I came here to FICT to become a wildlife conservation and envioronment cameraman. In a very few days I came to know that I am at the right place. Because I was encouraged to pursue my interests at an individual level .A number of times I discussed ideas for wildlife stories with the faculty and this was very fruitful for my development and career.
According to my field of interest FICT sent me to Mr. Mike Pandey for internship. There, I learned how I should build up research based stories for wildlife conservation.
Also, at FICT I got an opportunity to produce two environment based programmes viz. “Bezuban Faryadi” & “Prisoners in Concrete”
At last ,I would like to mention that before joining the FICT I had passion only for wildlife but now I have extended my passion and interest to save the wildlife. |
